Good Morning Nikman

I have visited Monument Valley on multiple occasions and I love it. You have done well with the composition here. I like the colors you have captured for both the foreground and the mid range beyond. The monuments are well done.
This is just me but I think perhaps you have a little more sky than is necessary. If you would crop out some of the sky it would bring more attention to the monuments which are actually the main story elements. This is just a thought. But take a look and see what you think.

You have a good day.

Roger

What a beautiful view you had when this photo was taken. I especially like the almost purple hues of the sky in contrast to the golden colors of the landscape, and also how nicely the rock formations are standing out from the sky.

Your photo is crisp and clear and it is sharp and well defined details to be seen in every part of the landscape. I also think the exposure is perfect.

It is a good balance in the composition with the big rocks on each side, but personally I would probably have cropped a bit off at the top. Still a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

This is indeed a magnificent view into this famous landscape. I enjoy the wide view while the well placed rock formations led my eye to the far away horizon. The colors look realistic in the soft light of the evening. I understand that it is not easy to take sharp pictures in a light like this, but I think the picture would be more interesting if you try a careful sharpening of detail.

Nik,
A beautiful & atmospheric picture of this iconic scene of Monument Valley the background to many a "Western" film. The low clouds floating over head & hiding the blue sky above add to the mysterious feeling & atmosphere of the scene. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

lol...'left mitten, right mitten' LOVE it! and that really is the most perfect title you've given your piece Nik.

Nice focus.....your landscape is well detailed. Lovely, very natural color...nicely framed and well exposed. Overcast skies captured well too.

Put this one together just right Nik!

Beautiful picture The right amount of landscape usage and assistance from a cloudy sky, to enhance the desert coloring, make this picture work Nice job

A wonderful shot of this barren and dry landscape, taken with brilliant long DOF and getting all the rock formations (or 'Butte's' as I've now learned they're called!) in neatly and with good clarity and positioning. The long looming skyline also has a good effect on creating perspective - great shot.

Love the color in the desert sand and the overcast cloud cover adding a bit of drama, nicely positioned for the thirds rule. Love the rocks appearing out of the sand from no where with sage bursh for vegetation. Thanks for sharing.
