This is a good "action shot" of this bird singing! The sun provides a good amount of lighting and the blue sky is a perfect background for the blackbird and green leaves. I wish the image was a tad sharper, however, and that the angle was different so we could see more of the bird.

for starters ..what a strange latin name this bird has !! its a lovely detailed shot of the blackbird and his surroundings with the light from the sun skimming the leaves just right allowing this subject to be enhanced ..nice structure

I can't believe you've not heard the Blackbird sing, they sing as beautifully in England as they do here in Ireland..the accent may be a little different but the song is as sweet.

I like the use of the ROT in this photo the color of the leaves help the bird to stand out more. It's too bad that we can't hear the song he was singing for you. I enjoy listening to the birds.
