This lone oak seems to hang on to a plateau with a slope in front, a canyon perhaps. It is twilight sometime between light and day. Fog is lingering in the canyon below. It feels as if there is water running below which caused the mist. I like those colors. The autumn yellow of the oak leaves looks beautiful with evergreens in the blue fog
The Oak is well placed into the frame, just as our equilibrium likes it.

This picture definitely draws one into it. The composition is strong, with good balance of color, dark and light. The various textures that surround the oak complement the texture created by the colorful leaves.

I love the autumn shade of color in the oak tree contrasted by the deep blue colors int he background. You can see just enough of the pine trees in the background to really make this stand out. Very nice!
