Excellent camera work. Your settings capture the grandeur of these falls. Your exposure has frozen the water in place.
Color range and lighting add drama to this take.
The framing of this composition localizes the power plant very well.
A well thought out composition ... B-)) Bob

I am very grateful for your nice review!

I have been to Niagara Falls and it is a site to behold. This photography of the Falls is very good at seeing the flow of water closely. If this picture had captured the most coming from the Falls, it would be even more dramatic. Maybe that wasn't possible from the location the photo was taken, or maybe it's not possible at all?

Many thanks for your in depth review, much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed the shot!! I have in the past posted wider angled shots of the falls and will do so with some more new photos.

The colors of the water are just gorgeous. I like the straight on view of the falls and being able to see the water fall over the top. It's an interesting viewpoint that captures the motion well.

As always, you have taken advantage of the natural coloring in the scene of the water falls.
Great depth of field and the is excellent.

Hi Nikman,
This is a very nice shot of the falls which highlights the range of blues and the foamy whites. I like the way the cascade is right in front of the viewer. Thanks for sharing this. R

Love the photo. The color contrast between the water going over the falls and the river behind is a real eye catcher. The sharpness and the depth of field are great. Love the contrast of the gray building to the rest of the photo.

Great capture of the falls! I have seen these from the other direction in New York and it always amazes me. I like the way you cropped the picture with half falls and half river and land. Nice work!

The Canadian side is so much prettier, isn't it? The aqua of the falling water is so pretty. I really like the angle of this shot, with the viewer's eye almost at waterline. It makes the falls much more dramatic.
