I really like the arched Entrance leading us down the stone pathway. Great perspective, fine focus and fabulous view with the green leaves peaking down from the top of the arch.
The textures of the stone and buts of green add nicely to your POV.
Nice Entry for this contest.
Good luck :)

Beautiful photograph. Must have been a gorgeous place to visit! I like the branch of green that sits at the top of the doorway as the rest of the walkway and walls are made of river rick. nice work!

Wonderful image. Great idea for the contest - different ... but absolutely fabulous "framing". :-)) Camera techs are perfection of course. The lighting and the color perfectly done so kudos on the exposure. Great focus as well offering up a perfect view. Wonderful. Thanks for sharing! Good Luck!

Well this is beautiful! I think, sometimes, that the simplest of photos are the best ones! Well done using the door way as a frame; very appropriate for this contest! Great overall clarity and depth of field. Well done!

A beautiful scene which is well framed by the archway. I like the look of the stone buildings and the cobblestone walk. The plant hanging down adds an element of life and the colors are outstanding. Best of luck in the contest.

Very nice entry for the contest - good luck. Love these old cities with their cobblestone streets. Like how you framed the shot through the arch and I also love that greenery sticking itself right into the center of the shot. Color and lighting are nice. Wonderful composition, framing, focus and dof. Thanks for sharing.

A great capture for the comp theme.
Controlled lighting without blown out spots.
Diminishing viewpoint leads us to that corner & viewers wonder how long is this path?!?
Addition of that foliage softens the monochromatic stone structures somehow...
Best of luck in the contest!
Thanks for sharing...
