I can spot you work as soon as it pops on the screen.

The use of the "overflowing" layers create a strong 3D effect.

Funny thing is that the colors in the flag are much like the old confederate flag from the American revolution North vs. South.

I also like the frame within a Frame look.

Very well done.

This is such a lovely tribute to your Norway's National Holiday av!

Beautiful colors....and adding the white Daisies was brilliant. It's a crisp, sharp presentation done up in your style. Very very pretty. Good notes too btw. Hope you had a wonderful day.

Deborah

Birthdays are always special to remember and celebrate a person or birthday of ones Country.
I bet this was a fun day filled with great fun and vintage costumes.
I really like the reds and blues but it is the rhinestone frame that really makes this special.
You worked hard on this and it is a beauty.
Fine tribute to Norway Cara.
:)

Gratulerer med dagen til Norge fra en æres svensken.

Great use of bold colors with soft contrasting secondary color.

The background gives a gentle and welcoming feel to this composition.

The composition is well framed.

Nice photo. Centered well and framed. I like how you had a graded tone colors for the background. The blurred effect is a nice touch. Happy birthday Norway!

Thanks for sharing this date with us! Interesting notes and fun to imagine what goes on in your part of the world compared to our Independence Day of July 4th. A beautiful work showing your pride and respect for your Norway. A pleasure to view as always.

Quite a nationalistic image created here! And why not indeed! I speak as the son of Estonian parents who had to move to England after WW 11! Hope you enjoyed your special day as I enjoyed your image!

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. It is probably nationalistic, but not in a bad way. Our National day is more like a fiesta for children where the military is not involved at all.
