This flower is truly stunning and the fact that some are still to open offering more beauty is an excellent choice. Love the focus, color and lighting giving us a clear view of the flower spray. :) Mary

Beautiful shot! You capture great detail! My first thought was a fireworks display. This is interesting how the flowers go from the tiny specs to the larger, "fuzzy" ones and the black stem really disappears making them seem to "float".

They do almost 'float' Bill...from a distance they look like little salmon and white clouds just floating above their foliage. Thank you so much for having a look at this little guy and I really do appreciate the marvelous review and shiny gold star very much!

I love close up flower photos and this is a beauty. The colors are perfect, to many times people try to add too much vibrance and saturation to their photos and they start looking fake. Great depth of field, the bokeh is just right for this shot.

First, the plants that you choose are so unique, and second, your splendid photos of said plants. This one captures the viewer with the narrow DOF that showcases the odd flower and leaves. The colors are striking and vivid. I like the way the left bg is dark and the right is light. Very yin yang. Thanks for sharing this treasure.

"Very yin yang" What an absolutely delightful way for you to put it Anne! ...and you're quite right too btw. There is nothing I enjoy more than my little place here. I've worked incredibly hard designing all the beds.....deciding what flowers to put where....next to who...lol etc. etc. And photographing all my little gems well and carefully is almost as much fun as selecting them and deciding where they shall 'live'. So thank you Anne for your kind and perceptive words....it makes me happy that you enjoy my flowers as well!
