Very colorful , very good centering , great details from the flower buds to the thorns , and a nice soft focus on the rest at the right ..

Thank you so much wrc for having a look at my new piece. The 'thorns' are actually just hairs. I know they look sharp but it's really just a very hairy flower....lol... Do appreciate your lovely review too.

What an interesting flower this is. Nice bokeh and like the contrasting colors. Do they really grow that way with the pinkish red to white. So cool. Focus is good on the white but you lost a little on the top buds. Did not know if this was intentional. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Yes Lynn....lol...they REALLY grow that way. I never change colors, backgrounds etc. in my images. What you see is EXACTLY what they look like in my gardens. Do appreciate you checking them out and thank you for the lovely review.

This capture has such great impact.

Were you visited by horticulturist alien beings who left behind several varieties of their indigenous plants? I have never seen this perennial before - looks kinda alien. But I like it.

Your camera skills are showing. This looks like a challenging take. so many angles and dimensions to this flower. You got it all in fine focus and a nice background bokeh.

The colors are so rich and vibrant. The deep green in the far background adds just enough contrast to really set off the flower.

This is among you finest work ... B-)) Bob

Oh no Bob! It is storming here and my entire reply just disappeared...damn!!! Will try again in a few mins. Internet connection gone at the moment. Well it's back...lol...for the moment anyway and I should probably make this one briefer in case I lose it again.

This is just a wonderful review and I was so delighted to see YOU at the end of it. I do appreciate your kind words and, of course, the shiny gold star you shared. Thank you sooo much. I'm afraid I've left out all the good stuff I said in my first reply but going to send this before I lose power or my connection.

A visually appealing capture of these rare florets & cute buds!

A visual feast with selective focusing & great bokeh backdrop effects.

Natural colors in excellent illumination.

Aesthetic framing with Impressive perspective & narrow DOF.

What a colorful image, my friend. This is gorgeous. Plus, the biology/botany lesson in your notes. Yes, the sun is feeling pretty good. That is why I am preparing to go back to the snow...lol. Great exposure, color, focus. Well done.

This little flower was a real bonus Paul. I would have been happy just w/ it's gorgeous foliage (which I didn't even show here btw...lol) so when it flowered the 2nd year I felt like I'd hit the jackpot! Thank you so much for checking it out and for the wonderful review you've given it. I do really appreciate it.

Kind of looks like a Florida Christmas tree LOL; like the redness at the top; pretty how the lower buds slowly get more out; good contrast w/ the green from the rest of the garden; the ones that haven't bloomed remind me of fireworks; nice job!

lol...only you- a Floridian swimmer would notice that! But it does look kinda like a tree....a very small tree. I often wonder before the first review comes through how my image will be accepted. ALWAYS a pleasure when you are the first one to check it out. Thank you swimmer for another generous review and rating. I ALWAYS appreciate it!
