I see these guys around my house fairly often but they are awfully skittish. A fine shot with sharp details and beautiful colors. The tight cropping and closed eye are fantastic.

He must have worked on a forest that made him so Tuckered..lol. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the birds facial is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Beautiful emerald greens in this capture Fred. It took me just a minute this early morn to figure out the position of the duck..with his bill tucked under his wing. Artistic composition of photography. BG is a beautiful color and appropriately smooth to compliment the clarity of your detail in the duck. Nice!

Hope you didn't wake him up Fred - nicely composed photograph of the sleeping Wood Duck with the lighting, exposure and color handled well. Focus is sharp and the background blurred is good. :) Mary

I love the colors of the duck and the contrast and clarity of the photo, but I it's kind of hard telling what I am looking at unless I read your heading. I do like the way he is burying his head and how his eye is shut. Thanks for sharing.

you were looking at a colorful bird: I think it is sharp and clear enough even without enlarging and reading the notes.....unless you're looking on a small I phone screen
