Sorry, I cannot help you with the identification of your nice looking blooms and plant! Your photo is nicely composed, sharp and has good exposure. Well done!

Correa?
It very well could be,Mary!
(I'm not all that familiar with the names of many plant species! )
But I'm certainly enjoying the photo of it that you presented us with,my friend!
The soft and gentle looking coloration emanates a cool, dreamy vibration that I really like!

This is a beautiful capture to study. A plant that I am completely unfamiliar with.

Your capture is excellent in exposure, colors, clarity and dof. That soft pink has been complimented nicely with the dark greens. Your framing has moved the blossoms just a bit to the right..which is good. Yet you have kept the green branches in perspective . Nice work and a lovely and interesting plant! Thanks for sharing.

A nicely composed shot in beautiful light. The colors are fantastic but the flowers could be sharper. This is the kind of subject that benefits from stopping down the lens and using a tripod.

Mary,
A great picture of these Heather like flowers beautifully framed by their rich green foliage the pale tips glowing in the light. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

An interesting and unusual flower you've captured here, I have vague memories of seeing these somewhere but I couldn't tell you what they were!! good clarity and framing of the shot with the light violet flowers sitting prominently against the spiky green backdrop, with good DOF and nice lighting - great work.

A rare bloom with simple closed elongated petal.
Visually soothing lilac florets against dark verdant foliage.

Hazy overtone.
Please enhance clarity & sharpness.
Subtle illumination.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Thanks for sharing...

Thanks again Dick, not very good at editing don't really do much other than crop and adjust contrast sometimes. Anyhow I gave your suggestion a try not sure it made a marked difference but clarity is probably a little better. :) Mary
