A beautiful picture of the Goldfinch perched on the Shepherd's hook above the feeder while keeping a weather eye on you. Beautiful composition, framing, lighting & taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Cute little presentation of this colourful bird that is fairly common to the british Isles with the usual feeding from the tit bits that the families leave out for them and all their garden friends. I particularly like the structure and the unusual perch that he is on. Thats what caught my eye to be honest along with the nice sharp detail
