I really like the details in the feathers of the bird! Great color, crop and exposure as he looks to be sitting on the roof of a birdhouse? I like the white background behind the black feathers, really makes him stand out.

Really nice shot. Like the colors and the contrast, very nice detail. The depth of field is perfect for the shot gives just the right amount of bokeh.

Hmmm. I have framed a few of my images. Good way to advertise.

A lovely image. The bird is in fantastic focus. I love your choice of frames. Well done.

This is simply an Outstanding presentation,Mike!
The photo of the bird ( A Starling? ) is an excellent piece all by itself but I especially like the classy and highly attractive way it looks pictured inside the wonderful frame that you've given it! While I realize that a good number of people who post images here on FAR
claim that they don't care for the looks of framed imagery, I think that the proper framing ( 'real' or digital ) of a posted picture adds a nice 'Finished' and Professional look to an artwork! It seems such a proper way to show that an Artist actually CARES about the work that they're displaying rather than just 'putting up snapshots' online! )
'Good Show',my friend! A very 'Good Show' Indeed!

    You're very welcome,Mike! :)
And I agree with you completely! I've gotten all kinds of complaints about how my frames "ruin" the looks of my postings ,but HEY! They're MY drawings , I like framing them, and they DO look good with frames-so ... X'in Loi,little boy! ( as the prostitutes in Saigon used to say to their disappointed customers back in the day! ) : D

An interesting initial impact.

An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors with that white curtain as a perfect backdrop!

Excellent details & features. Impressive subject & textures.

Thanks for sharing...

Quite a nice bird shot presented here! Looks like the background is a flower bloom or a white sheet? Your full and central composition gives us a good look at your bird but it leaves me wondering what breed is it? Sharpness and exposure are fine, well done!

Mike, this is an immature Starling beautifully framed by your camera ,& the frame you've added. Beautiful composition framing & lighting, taken with superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus.

what an excellent presentation and i like the idea of framing it for your portrayal of this fine looking bird. The defused backdrop assists in enhancing the birds plumage all over and subsequently displays a great sharpness to your image. The chiaroscuro technique has been used appropriately ...great work with great presentation
