Oh this is even a better one of him sg!!

Excellent focus and color....nicely cropped too....he's cute enough for an almost full frame shot anyway. I'm a long way from any zoo up here. Did see a Mother Bear w/ two cubs several days ago....that's the closest I get to a hairy little guy like this.

Great shot sg.

The cubs were in my wood shed sg! Didn't see the Mom at first but I KNEW she was right out there w/ them. They're pretty hungry this time of year so didn't dare go out and mess around w/ photos.

Orangutans are irresistibly cute, of course, but this one---perhaps because of his large hands---seems to have a maturity about him. The grass is perfect for showing us his shape and size. The face is just begging to be "interpreted," though I wouldn't know what he's thinking. Outstanding photo!

This is one of the photos which have an instant impact on the emotion of the viewer. The pose and the pounding mouth make me wishing I could pick him up and console that youngster. He is excellently placed into the frame. The capture is crisp and the colors look beautifully natural.

Never a shortage of photo opts with these guys. Nice capture of his wispy hair. The vivid green grass complements him nicely.

Cute little guy! I like how you captured him squatting int he tall grass looking for his momma. Great vivid background color that makes a good contrast to the reddish brown of the orangutan.

Not surprised that mum left you judging by the gormless expression on your face! The almost classical composition that you adopted provides us with a grand look at baby! Exposure and sharpness are OK. Nicely done!

Hello Supergold

Good looking orangutan sitting in this lush green field. I like the expression on his or her face, The lips formed to say something.

Good capture of the eyes. And good composition. The colors are very rich and sharp and clear, I think this image is very well presented.

I have to tell you at first glance I thought he was in a hole in the ground. PFFT. Now I see his legs.
Glad you were able to capture these cute guys active, alert and looking genuinely healthy and happy.
Focus, eye clarity and exposure are all top notch.
Nice work.

another cute pose of this little Orangutan.

I love their colors which makes them stand out from all other great apes.

Clarity is wonderful and has such a nice surrounding of grass.

You can't go wrong with a picture of babies of any species, but this one is particularly nice. I like the natural setting and the expression is perfect. The way you show the hands so prominently is superb.
