Very nice shot. I like the symmetry in this shot. Great detail and wonderful color. I like the way they are all tied at the top. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

What a great graphic shot of these common everyday onions.
You found some nice ones too that were not faltering in their skins. :)
Clarity is top notch and the presentation is graphic and very well thought out.

That's an interesting and pleasantly unusual picture,Nikman! ( Especially to someone like me who wasn't even aware of the existence of 'show onions'! : ) )
Your photo of them presents us with a rather enjoyable image to view,my friend!

Nice shot of these onions. They are perfectly shaped. No wonder they are prize winning. You captured the details of the onion skin well.

I am taken by the simplicity of the well thought out photo. It is a serious photo, but it makes me smile. The vegetable of tears presented as star-subjects of a photo. It is always astounding to see simple things in a setting which makes them looking like something very special and let us apprehend the beauty of shape and colors,

I have to say those are the prettiest onions I have ever seen! They are all as perfect as they could be stacked with each other with the light shades of amber on their skin. Awesome job with this.

Impressive capture!
An interesting initial impact.
Creative concept of capturing them this close.
Innovative cropping approach.
Imaginative framing presentation.
Controlled illumination without blown out effects.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.

Hello Nikman
I have been taking pictures for years now and never once have I thought of taking a shot of some onions. I think you deserve recognition for your original thought.
Your image is very well done. Composition is good and the subjects are very well focused. Details are good and your colors are natural. I like the black background between each element. And I like the original thought behind this production.

I am very pleased that you enjoyed my photo! Many thanks for your kind and considered review!! The black background and the arrangement of the onions was done by the organisers of the show. So I benefited from their work when I came along!

Well it was a nice job of panning whoever did it. I like to pan so I am familiar with the process.
