A beautiful picture of this Sea Gull flying low over the shallows of the incoming tide the low level sunlight glowing on the white plumage of the Gull. Artistic composition beautiful framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

very cool and relaxing capture. blue is my favorite color. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the bird flying towards the water is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

The blue color indicates an overcast sky and gives a moody feeling, but the many shades of blue are intriguing. The seascape is serene looking even with the tide coming in as the waves show. The lonely bird is well placed into the frame. The photo appears well balanced.

The beautiful variations in the water from color to depth to waves really makes this shot interesting and provides a perfect backdrop for the in flight bird flying out into it. Composed just right with room for the bird to fly out. Great DOF and clarity. Nicely done.

Is that land in back? or a big wave? lol I can't quite decide which. Wonderful timing and excellent placement of your gull in the frame. I am also trying to decide if there's a bit of a blue cast here or if it's really actually b/c everything IS blue...lol...sky, water etc. Perfect entrant for this contest. Best of luck to you.
