This is a lovely photograph. The different shades of blue are beautiful. It really exudes a peaceful serenity. It has a nice sense of distance and movement. The one gull is placed perfectly in the composition. Nice work!

The lovely blue cast over the whole scene gives a feeling of cold winter weather. The lone gull soaring out to deeper water grabs out attention. It also appears to be windy as the breaking waves have mist rising up.
It may be my eyes but I think your horizon is a bit tilted. Just my thought.

A very nice scene in beautiful subdued tones. I like the horizontal flow of the land and the waves and the gull is a great addition. I might crop a bit off both the top and bottom. Best of luck in the contest.
