A fantastic shot with sharp detail and beautiful saturated colors. Is that blemish on the petal or do you need to clean your sensor? A nicely cropped image with tremendous impact.

Wow! What an intense yellow rose! Did you know that yellow roses usually have no scent? I love the dark background, with just the glimpses of leave and bud, and the almost orange shadows within the opening rose. Nicely positioned for this tight frame.

Yes, it certainly does look that way! Such a beautiful rose bloom certainly deserves the full and central composition that you have applied!! Sharpness and exposure are both good! Nicely taken!

Just beautiful Mike. Nothing I like better than a flower-filled frame and it's the most lovely yellow ROSE you've presented here.
Lovely crisp focus...the detail in those outer leaves is outstanding. That lemon yellow color is one of my favorites and it's nicely presented. Love the tight crop and couldn't agree w/ you more on the title. I am wondering if exposure or perhaps saturation is just a tiny bit high on the center petals? Detail on those petals is harder to pick out. But you know what....it may just be me Mike b/c this is really nothing but gorgeous.
I know how much you like your ROSES....me too but it will be months yet before any of mine make an appearance so I will just enjoy yours until then. You grow beautiful flowers. I like this one a whole lot.

Wow this is a beautiful and vivid shot of this yellow rose unfolding into full bloom, and I agree they are understated - they look good enough to eat, like mango sorbet! (they don't taste very nice, I'm getting a flashback to my childhood haha). Brilliant clarity, lighting perfect to bring out all the brighter elements of the photograph whilst exposure has been kept to a fine level, giving great detail in the petals and also the surrounding greenery with the DOF very good - lovely shot!

You always do awesome floral captures and this one hit the top. The angle of the shot of the floral capture is awesome. The capture of the light is perfect. The clarity is excellent. The image is well balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Great eye and awesome work overall (clapping)
