This is a fine looking little heron with the almost golden feathers, and I especially like the way the light is falling on it. It is also standing out from the background in an excellent way.

Your focus is spot on and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the bird. I also think the exposure is perfect.

The tight cropping has worked well, and the bird is well placed off to the left given room to look into. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

An excellent rendition of a bird I have never seen before.

Your camera settings are smack on for this take of this bird. The eye is so sharply focused and a hint of a catch light in the eye makes this piece stand out.

The bill and feather details are so vivid.

A beautiful shot. The way he glows with warm color makes it seem he is in some kind of spotlight while the rest of the image is poorly lit at best. Great colors and a sharp eye and bill.
