I feel your friends pain as we lost our best friend, Mannie, 3 weeks ago today. Your artistic rendition has created a great memory for your friend and I commend you for doing that. The heartbreak eventually will be outweighed to some degree by the memories they had together. A wonderful gesture and a great drawing. I wish you all the best in the contest.

Darn no 6's. Well you got me beat on this one oh pencil wizard. Wink. The facial expression is perfect. The shading is superb. The depth is perfect. The details is perfect. The creation is well balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Very creative and awesome work overall (standing clapping and cheering) woooohhoooo.

I have off the site for a while and wondered what I would see when I returned. I am so happy to see you are still doing things with your art. The details and your POV is outstanding. The DOF is perfect and I had to read the notes to make sure this was not a photo. Lighting, soft color and the details are outstanding.

awww..always so hard to lose our guys like this Linda. My Finnegan died over a year ago and I still miss her terribly.
Just love the up tight and close presentation....nose first....it's unusual but marvelous. Your drawing, of course, is beyond merit....ALWAYS.... Halo is beautifully detailed here...eyes...nose...even chin hairs. Not sure if upload was a bit of an issue w/ this piece though?? It almost looks pixelated.
Does not take away from your drawing, however, which is always so top notch. This was a lovely remembrance for you to do for your friend.
