This is a wonderful close up portrait. Can't hardly believe you did this by hand; wow, the details. I like how you decided on black and white; those eyes really pop out very nicely. They are good and bright as well. The dark background makes your dog stand out nicely. Great job!

I gave you six stars because of the very vivid likeness of the detail you achieved. Excellent work on her nose and the eyes are incredible. Very lifelike!! Just the splash of color adds to the dimensions and your depth perception is spot on. Its like she in right in your face. Superb!!

I was a heartbroken reading that this was a memorial to a friends dog. Having gone through that myself you are truly a great friend. Awesome drawing, I like the way you captured the eyes and the silver coming through on the muzzle of the dog. Very nice work!

Reminds me of a suspense thriller in the late 80's named "Zoltan: The Hound of Dracula"...
Superb up close & very personal.
Monochromatic presentation with great tonal range.
