Another beautiful piece of bird photography. Your pictures come out alive. The clarity of the image is good. The bird against the clear sky shows off well. On the whole, it is a well composed shot. Well done.!

    Cathal,
Thanks a million for your great review & the cyber six star rating which is most welcome.
It was one of those lucky flukes that worked out better than I thought it would. I hope you got some sunshine today, unexpectedly today in Dublin was clear sunny & dry.

beautiful presentation and i like how you have kept the wide expanse of branches and sky as if to perceive the bid singing his song to the whole wide world to hear rather than just cropping him as the main subject..well done

Lovely capture of this beautiful little Song Thrush, Susan, singing its heart out perched in the Hawthorn. I like the way the branches and twigs curve across the frame and the patterns made by the leaves against the pale blue sky. Excellent lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Considering it was so high up you did very well in getting such a good shot of it! Your composition gives us a reasonable look at your "singer". Sharpness and exposure are good too. Well done!

Thanks a million for your complementary review. As I was shooting against the light I was surprised it came out as well as it did.

A really nice one here Susan. I like the way you have the bird placed in the scene. The leaves and branches accent the bird by seeming to point to it. The sky is just right and the focus and sharpness are spot on. Very well done Susan ~ Steve

    Steve,
Thanks a million for your complementary review.
It was a blind shot that turned out well, I heard the bird & saw it against the light, pointed the camera zoomed & clicked.
Did an in camera adjustment to the light & that's all.

Wonderful capture of this beautiful thrush with his beak open singing toward the heavens. Excellent view of him atop the high branches of the tree with great focus and lighting. I very much like the colors of the sky in the background giving this bird our full attention. great composition.

it was one of those unexpected triumphs when everything seemed to be wrong but the photo came out alright despite all the things against it.

How beautiful. It looks to me like the Thrush is looking up to God with mouth open singing happiness for being alive and free. Very nice composition with the right branch turning back into the photo. Great job.
