Old house slowly going to the left

Interesting shot. It looks like an optical illusion with the house tilted. A nice entry to the contest. I would lighten it up a bit. Good luck in the contest.

thanks,,but I know that lighting it up the snow is way too bright

Good Afternoon

The composition is good and I like very much the handling of the light on the snow. The sun peaking through the shaded sky above lights up the snow on the left nicely as well as the trees in the upper left side.

I like the tractor which is crisp and clear and richly colored.

The house is very nice and I can feel the pain of the owner who is suffering the tilt displayed. I can only imagine the disappointment as this building began to sink into the ground.

This is a good story image.

It looks as if you took this photo just in time before this old barn falls down completely. It is surely falling to the left. The old tractor seems near collapse too. This is a story told without words.
I appreciate the natural coloring. Maybe you could try to lighten it up just a little. It looks a bit dark on my computer.

well to lighten it up would make the snow way too bright,,trust me I have tried,,it was a very bright day when I took this,,thanks though

I understand that. I was thinking of isolating and lighting just the part without snow, but maybe your program does not have this option.

Time and pressure - 2 forces that cannot be deterred forever. I have always marveled at the wonderful character thee old buildings have.

Your camera management is well displayed.

DoF demonstrates fine detail and sharpness through out the exposure.

All the important aspects of this take combine to present a well balanced shot with good initial impact.

The color range is wide and presents good eye appeal.

Well produced capture ... B-)) Bob

Looks like a good choice for this contest. I love rustic old houses and barns. The focus and angle are appropriate for this shot. The blue of the tractor gives a little relief from the muted tones of the rest of the picture.

The owner said he puts all his furniture on the right side. Wink wink..lol. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of the leaning house in the wintry landscape is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

thanks,,,I remember my grandfather putting poles to keep the porch from falling at his house when I was a child, lol,,must be something they did then instead of fixing it

An interesting shot. Usually when the building lists this badly it is flat on the ground in no time. I guess the buttressing is doing its job. A fine shot for this contest, good luck in the voting.

LOL... So glad this is not my house! You have given us some grand focal power here - the detail is fantastic. Great natural color as well. I do think the lighting over the house and tree area might be raised just a little... that's me though, works as is. Great fun in this "the house is wrecked" moment. LOL Thanks for sharing! Good luck in the contest!
