What stands out are the colours, obviously, but the brightness of them fits the theme & mood of the subject.

The angle in which you took this shot also works well because the eyes are drawn back along the chairs.

I really am attracted to the colorful chairs but I really like the neutral colors and how the boardwalk leads the eye around the picture off into the distance. The mountain range seems so out of place to those of us who don't live in such areas. I think it's neat how the color of the mountains and that of the water seem to flow together but broken by that line of the horizon made from the rock jetty. Nice work.

This wonderful scene means summer to me, too. I love the colorful chairs and the way they are lined up in front of the boards. I also love the flying seagulls and the one perching on the chair. Everything is nice and sharp with beautiful natural colors.

it looks rather as a scene taken on a more or less sunny winter day;
the only visitor on the chairs on this beach is a seagull!
technically a good capture, but not appropriate for this contest!
