A beautiful flower with vivid colors. Focus is sharp and details are clear. Flower is well placed in the frame and the background is such so as to accentuate the beauty of the flower. Best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve

A beautiful blossom in a great natural setting. I like the detail in the flower and its unusual coloration. The composition is excellent and the colors are natural looking. Best of luck in the contest.

Wow what an unusual and beautiful plant, I had no idea it existed! great clarity and DOF in this shot and perfect lighting brings out the wonderful vibrant colours in the leaves nicely, and also clearly shows the young buds coming through - the lush light greenery in the background (presumably it's leaves) give a great contrast and this combined with the angle of the shot makes the flower pop and look almost 3D!! amazing shot and good luck!!

The greenery in the background are indeed new flower buds and leaves.
