Lovely pic of the chubby little fella! I like the soft and gentle presentation! You have framed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

Hi Deb!
These 'cute' little things are a fairly common sight during the Winter around these parts,my friend, and your photo of this particular specimen is pleasingly colorful and lots of fun to view!
'Good Show'!

They are just such busy, happy little guys around here that I was delighted to actually catch one sitting still long enough for me to photograph Sean. Always look forward to a 'good show' from you...lol...so thank you for not disappointing me w/ my 'not a flower' post. Do really appreciate it.

Beautiful capture of this Chickadee! Your focus is sharp and clear, and your lighting is good and reveals wonderful details on this bird of the feathers and markings. I like the way his head is turned but still captured superb eye clarity. A complimentary background with good depth of field. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing!

Just about as perfect everything as you can get. This could be in Audubon book. The POV is great and the crop helps positions the branches and bird so well. The soft light and sharp focus gives the scene a 3D feeling. You nailed this one.

What a charming fellow! And your expertise on birds (at least chickadees) is as impressive as your knowledge of flowers. Beautiful portrait, very sharp, with the perfect composition in the branches.

Deborah, I posted a picture with you in mind. Mystery Flower is a shot of a flower I have never seen until it showed up in my neighbor's garden. If you don't mind, have a look and let me know if you recognize it.

So nice to see this little chickadee!

Your colors are so true and background is beautifully done.

I'm thinking the FAR upload lost some details here but to be honest, he is so cute to look at, who cares :)

the flower lady has landed in the trees!!!! :)

Thanks for the reminder! This looks like a bird we call a tit here in the UK. Your central composition gives a grand look at your bird. Your camera settings affords us lots of enjoyable detail. Nicely taken!

Impressive capture!
An interesting initial impact.

Excellent choice of subject in a dynamic, semi diagonal framing.

Diffused focusing perhaps due to cam movement or panning as the trunk was rendered hazy while the wing feathers are quite sharp...
(Is my FilipinoEnglish correct?)

Subtle illumination.
A cute & candid capture!!

An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive setting & textures. Thanks for sharing...

I wanted the bird crisp Dick....and concentrated on that. I rested my camera on a tree branch so wasn't movement of camera. Thank you for checking him out though.

Definitely not a flower, but this little chickadee is as pretty. I admire the natural colors as well as the exquisite focal and the crispiness of detail. The chickadee is excellently placed. The branches are emphasizing the bird.

I couldn't believe my luck Cleo to find all those wonderful branches around him but NOT in front of his body! Thank you so much for having a look and I do really appreciate the gold star.
