No clue but it looks like a party. Wink. Lol. The angle of the shot of the bugs Inside the flower is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

I don't know what they are, but they look like those bugs who just killed some of my flowers. I was told the are nymphs of flower-bugs.
Anyway, you captured them well, so an expert should be able to identify them. The yellow of the flower and how you cropped the photo lead the attention of the viewer to those plant eaters.

Chrysolina Beetles.
Great capture showing these Invaders among the bright sunny Yellow of the St John's Worth.
Focus is sharp where it needs to be and Exposure is handled well.
Nice Capture Fred ;)

I like the framing of this flower and the nice detail of the stamen and the beetles. They look like some type of leaf beetle. There is a St. John Wort's beetle which I think is the same or similar to the mint leaf beetle. I can't tell if they have the tell tale green sheen and dimples. It would be interesting to know what they are.

They seem to be some kind of beetle. They are quite tiny and hard to identify at this magnification. They (as well as the interior of the flower) are shown in fine detail and great colors.

Fantastic shot. I of course have no idea what buggy little fellows are hanging out in your bloom but the capture offers up grand focus. Having a fabulous family dinner. LOL Great natural color and wonderful lighting. Focus fabulous as well. I really like strength in your cropping as well. Really well done! Thanks for sharing!

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the heart of the St John Wort flower with it's visiting Beetles that I think maybe Leaf Beetles / Timarcha goettingensis though I could be wrong. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
