Who says that churches must have four walls, a steep pitched roof with a bell tower - not God.

Ultra modernistic geodesic design.

The overcast sky lends wonderful contrast to this interesting take.

Technical settings are very well programmed.

Excellent detail in the shingles.

Color is a little flat but that is due more to the environment and not the photographer.

I like this take. It has a design that catches the eye. I wonder what the inside is like? ... B-)) Bob

Your kind and detailed review is appreciated. I have another external shot, but at the moment I cannot remember if we went inside.

I know Connemara is a somewhat lonely country, but this church looks as if in the middle of nowhere. The name indicates that it might there for the travelers through the fast country or the people of the lonely farms. The architecture seems strange too. Mostly triangles and one square. No windows and no bell-tower either, just a small cross on top. That makes the viewer think about who build it and why. The subdued colors, the foggy air and gray sky emphasize the spartan appearance of the chapel.

I think it is a bit strange to see a building without any windows. This one is shown in fine detail and very nice colors. I like the flat lighting and the attractive composition.

Beautiful capture of your triangular church. Enjoy the foggy, mist color that blends as a backdrop. Everything sharp and well framed. Very well done and Thank You for sharing,

Interesting design and appears to be light on space for attendance.
I would have rated this higher if you could have provided details of location, age, historical significance of importance,
to the community.

Ireland is very definitely worth visiting! We have been a number of times, but our home is in England. Thanks for your nice review!

Strange indeed and resembles a tent more so than a church. It looks small and I'm surprised that no windows appear to be present. Is the other structure a shed of sorts? A very interesting subject and composition with bold diagonal lines. Nice depth and overall capture. Kathy
