Man that bird does blend in with its surrounding. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of the bird in the tree is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Thanks Mark, yes you usually hear them before you see them :) :)

I would like to see and hear one of these in person :) I really like how well this guy's eye and beak show so clearly in this shot. The colors are very nice and you did a good job getting detail of the bird against a busy background.

Cool,Mary!
Your photographic capture of this 'Noisy Miner' ( An Australian species of Honeyeater Bird that we never see up here and whose name seems to be causing a lil' bit of confusion!
: ) )
makes for a pleasantly interesting and enjoyably colorful Avian Image to view on this Saturday afternoon,my friend!
A 'Good Show'? Yep!

Nice capture of this bird. Your composition is good sharpness and interest level are very well done. The blurred leaves help to keep the eye on the subject. Lighting is good except for the shadow on the top of the head but you came back with a sharp focus and nice glint in the eye. Overall very nice work.

Thanks so much, appreciate your positive feedback. No shadow on top of head the colors are grey/black which may look as though it is a shadow :) Mary

We don't get to see mynah birds around here but I always thought they were black. A nicely composed shot with good colors but the bird itself could be sharper.

Thanks for your positive feedback - this is an Australian native species and a member of the honeyeater family should be Noisy Miner spelt it incorrectly. They actually attack larger birds such as kookaburra and hawks despite their moderate size. :) Mary

One of the best times is staying out in the yard and taking all kinds of photos of birds but the one that I love to take is the cardinal, I don't know why I guess it is that lovely red color. Keep up the great work and enjoy those birds while you can. JackJr.

Beautiful capture of this interesting bird. Most striking and appealing is the color of yellow that comes out in the eye and the orange in the beak. Nice picture

Love this picture! This title reminds me of a bird we had around our place. It was loud....very loud but I could not find it. I finally spotted it in a small tree. It was very well hidden and disguised, as this one is. For my eye, this is just a great picture of nature in a hissing in a tree
