A great shot that looks as though it was a deserved winner for the competition. Good DOF and clarity despite the foggy and rainy conditions shows the bridge in the distance just jutting out, with the wild wash of the water dominating the scene below. The trees in the foreground give good perspective and the colours throughout are good in the subdued lighting. Great shot.

The trees in foreground provides that splash of color that sets up your take.
If you have not done so, I would suggest cropping from top & bottom, one at a time and save and compare each to review balance and possibly find a photo within your photo that accomplishes what your want with more meaning.

Like how you caught the mist rising from the river as it was clearing. Nice DOF, good color and nice focus. Looks like something that would be part of a Mark Twain story. Thanks for sharing and HAGD.

A very nice capture of the fog. The image is well composed and I like the foliage in the foreground. The light is beautiful and gives you very attractive colors.
