WOW!! This is just fantastic. Great clarity and focus. Great initial impact. I can feel myself in this picture with the other tourists. Wonderful technique and good dof. Great work

I can just imagine the amazement on those faces as they see this coming out of the ground, I can see that one guy taking a picture and saying that's something that I would have to do. This is well taken and the frame work is well centered and I can see a conversation started with this piece. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. JackJr.

Wow that is an impressive sight!! I like the concept of a tourist (no doubt) gazing in wonder taking pictures of tourists gazing in wonder at this remarkable natural phenomenon, that looks straight out of a film set or even cartoon from looking at the rocks on the left hand side. A brilliant shot captured with great clarity and fantastic DOF, from a brilliant vantage point that takes in all of the Minerva Terrace. I'll be honest with you; I've got no idea what it is - I presume ice/cold, but I'm not going to google it and instead ponder for a bit or wait and see if you decide to tell me lol. Either way an amazing shot, great work!!!

Yes, I was that tourist taking a shot of other tourists! If I remember correctly the white mounds are the mineral deposits left behind after the emerging waters have evaporated away. Many thanks for your comprehensive, detailed and kind review!!

now you see most people would try to keep the people and tourists out of their photo,,so this makes it even better as a story telling piece, love the perspective of how huge this place is,,nice

Cool capture. The angle of the shot of the terrain and geyser is great. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

think this is a special place and also think it falls into that theme of a torist shot, nothing wrong in that, think though would have been much better had you got closer so as to see much more contrast between the scenery and people...brian

This is a good outdoor shot. The light is good. The colours are natural. Overall it has been composed well with interesting foreground and background all adding to the interest of the main subject .

I want to go so bad. Our trip to Yellowstone last fall was cancelled due to the smoke and fires. I will get back there. This shot is so cool. The scene has a fine art quality of a painting. IT could have been painted in the 1920's Love the light and the mist creating a postcard scene. Perceptive and POV is fantastic.
