I have not seen these guys in the wild. You have done a nice job getting good definition of the feathers with the white color. I like how his yellow highlights stand out too.

I actually own an umbrella cockatoo which is very similar to this one.

Your clarity is wonderful with beautifully held whites and colors.

Thanks Eileen we sometimes get up to 100 flying over the top of our house at dusk and they make quite a lot of noise in the process :) :)

forces the focus on the bird, which in this case,
for me at least, would have been unnecessary.

Thanks Ken, we sometimes get up to 100 of them flying over our house and they can make quite a noise. We live 3km from city but have lots of parks in area :)

This is a great photo and I love how the background is blurred and he/she really stands out. The framing is well centered, to me it looks like there might be a little shadow around his head or am I seeing things, still this is a nice piece of work to capture this bird.
