Very nicely composed with a very artistic positioning of the pelican in the sky. Your choice of capturing the shot with those particular cloud formations was a good one also since they are interesting and add an artistic flare for the background. Nicely done. Good luck.

This turned out great! The pelican is discernible even with the distance with the shape of his telltale bill and the definition of the wingtips. I think the clouds make a nice background too!

Nice entry for this contest with the fine silohuette wing span of this Pelican in flight on a lovely sunny day. Love the blue sky with milky white clouds. Nice focus, Controlled exposure and creative POV.
Nicely done;)
Good Luck :)

This piece certainly is appropriate for the contest. What I really like is you have been able to capture the entire outline of the bird. Those clouds seem to absolutely frame the subject as well. Nicely done.

This is a superior entry for this contest! Not only have you fulfilled the description but you have created an artistic composition! Your lone silhouette it's quite dramatic against the white and blue of the sky. And that background alone is interesting. Your clarity has allowed the textures of the clouds to stage your subject. The diagonal spray of the cloud structure creates a beautiful first impression mixed in with your capture of the light. Your choice in framing this one again has created an artistic composition. Nice work and good luck!

This is a great photograph. I love the curving angle of the clouds and the gradual lightening of the sky from left to right. The bird is in the perfect position and the brightness in the lower right corner gives it a nice sense of depth. Great work.

the wings of pelican are reflected on the sky like cloud's wings. I can see even sun light on his neck, or, may be it was a pelican who made these splashes of cotton on the sky? Great fly of fantasy, thanks for sharing.

You must have extraordinary eyes, way better than mine. I did not see splashes of sunlight on the bird myself nor its shadow on the clouds, but I will look for it.

look at the clouds, don't they look like pelican's wings?
