This is really great work and I was just wondering how in the world did you get him/her to pose for you. I can see why you like black because this animal is beautiful, it almost looks like a dog that you could pet, I really like how you have framed this shot and the blurred background really makes him/her stand out. Thank you! He does look very much like a dog, unfortunately he is too dangerous to be pet. I am glad you think he is beautiful too :)

A very nice portrait of this black wolf. I have seen only a few in my many trips into the back country of Yellowstone Park. They stand out from the others in such a dramatic way. I like your capture here as it is nicely focused and the natural colors have been preserved. Nice placement of the animal in the frame. Kudos on a great shot Grace ~ Steve

A very nice portrait of this black wolf. I have seen only a few in my many trips into the back country of Yellowstone Park. They stand out from the others in such a dramatic way. I like your capture here as it is nicely focused and the natural colors have been preserved. Nice placement of the animal in the frame. Kudos on a great shot Grace ~ Steve

He looks content and calm, not dangerous. The resemblance to its relatives, the domestic dogs is evident. He looks intelligent and smart, but aware. I guess he could spring into action in the spit of an second if necessary. It is a good portrait because it shows his personality. The capture is sharp to the detail of the single hairs and the beautiful expressive eye.
