A brilliant and extremely well detailed photograph, especially taken with a flash, showing the intricacies of this beautiful lily, with all the veins showing clearly in the petals and great detail on the stamen, Great vivid colouring shot against the black background makes it really stand out, I think the use of the effects has worked well and created an excellent piece, great work. :)

Impressive work, I know how to hard to work with black canvas...Nothing extra, only amazing yellow colors stressed at the center. The flower looks like it made from the fabric. Thanks for sharing.

What an artistic version of a Day Lily. I love the choice of the night shot. The clarity that you have achieved with your light source and your camera has given you an excellent subject to take into Topaz Impressions. And I like what you have chosen for your filter. Those added textures in the petals make this flower appear to be created from silk. And the yellow color is vibrant yet not overly saturated for this composition. That touch of green in what is probably an unopened bud peeking from beneath the open flower is adding just enough of that fresh color of newness. Again...light and shadows are playing nicely throughout this composition. I like it very much! Thanks for sharing!

It's as if this bloom was made of fine gossamer threads, crafted by the angels of God. The way you have managed to show the intricate folds, and nuances of this flower, and to center it perfectly in the blackened stage makes this a masterpiece.
