Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
The back of this columbine flower resembles a flock of white swans, that came together to discuss The Queen of their Garden...YOU!
Some of the old-fashioned words for a flock of swans are wedge, ballet, lamentation, whiteness and regatta.
All of these words can be used to describe this pretty Whiteness.
There is a delicate beauty, graceful light and elegant charm about this capture.
Focus is sharp, DOF dreamy, white balance controlled and the inclusion of the buds completed the beauty.
Fine work Doc!
Bravo :)

Well this was just a treat the other morning Sange....and then to have the words 'delicate beauty' 'graceful light' and 'elegant charm' used to describe my piece.....along w/ 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!' well it is just a really wonderful review w/ a gold star to top it off. Thank YOU so very much. I do really appreciate you going back and finding this one.

Did not have to go back and look for it...I saw in on the front page a while ago...but I waited to review it. I love Swans...so this flower is just as elegant as they are.
I like Reviewing it when it is alone in your portfolio waiting for me.

What a cool flower. The second I saw it I thought of swans. Your exposure is very nice and gives the white color a very natural appearance. The texture of the petals stands out well too. I imagine it looks even better against the red flowers.

Oh aren't you a sweetie for having a look at my page Grace. The bright red MONARDA are in full bloom right now.....these little white guys were just a tad earlier than usual though this season so they've gone by already. BUMMER! I love it when the two of them are blossoming together. Anyway, thank you so much Grace for having a look at my 'Swans' lol I do really appreciate it.

Very soft and delicate this flower is. The dusk lighting softens it up even more. It is cropped and centered well. I like the background colors used.

I love this photo of this beautiful flower and you nailed the title. It is a little dark for my liking but very pretty. The focus of the bloom is great.

Good Morning

Nice initial impression. I like the cool look of this bloom. The white is a soft white very pleasing to look at. And the soft muted background supports the subject very well.

The details of the bloom are nicely done and I really like the way the top of the bloom curves into a central meeting point.

Neat bloom

Thank you for sharing

Roger

You cannot be serious. It is utterly fantastic that a flower would look like all these swans in a circle. This is a ballet, for sure. What a fantastic capture this is. One that will be talked about for a very long time. Wow!!!

It is rare for me to find one of these blossoms so perfectly lined up.....I've only seen one so far this season and I have MANY of these blossoms in the Wood Shed Bed. Well,COOL,Deb!
I can readily make out the Swan-like look of these elegant blossoms but I especially like the elegant Ghostly look that they have too!
(That fits in nicely with the Mysterious way these Columbines showed up in your gardens, doesn't it? : ) )
'Good Show',my friend!
