What a great nice wonderful lovely shot.Beautiful nice artistic scene.Entrance is great. Very nice presentation.Lovely flower and center,green gold artistic nature design,pink b/g are gorgeous great and make a nice scene.Light and color balance are very nice.I like this talent perfect work.Focus color and all are excellent.Great job.Well Done. A wonderful close up photograph of the centre of this poppy, showing the filament, stigma and stamen (I hope I've got that right!) with great clarity and detail, in great lighting surrounded by the beautifully purple coloured petals. Vivid and bright, a great choice for the contest and best of luck! :)

I totally agree. This is indeed a beautiful Poppy with the strong pink colored petals and you have captured the center of it so well. I especially like the fine textures you have brought out in the petals.
Your photo is nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the center part. I also think the exposure is spot on.
The square format works really well, and the centered position of the flower within the frame is perfect. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.
