A beautiful picture of a male Meadow Blue Butterfly / Polymmatus icarus (the female's wings are mainly brown with orange crescents) & the large black Carpenter Bee both sucking nectar from the French Marigold blossoms bathed in sunlight against a softly blurred background.
Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques & razor sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Neat combo of insects. The insect's color contrast against the flowers is very dramatic and gives a 3D effect to the piece. Clarity and detail are spot on. Nice work on brushing out the background too. Very appealing and makes a pronounced initial impact. Good luck.

I do not know whether to credit the photomatrix or the exceptional lens for the sharp detail in botht the butterfly and the bumblebee. Great colors and fine composition.

What a great capture! The tiny blue butterfly and the bee play off each other nicely with the blues and there's great contrast against the bright yellow flowers. The beautiful blurred background helps to give it some depth. Great job overall!

Think you are being tasteful in this fine shot! Your full and central composition grants us a good look at the scene! Exposure and sharpness are both good! Nice for overseas visitors!

This is a great look at both of these insects perfectly positioned on a lovely group of flowers. The blue butterfly is beautiful. You've captured beautiful iridescence in the bee's wings. The background looks great.

Visually appealing.
Aptly captured for the contest theme...
Warm Harmonious colors.

Fine flral features & soft insct textures.
Vibrant golden blooms lend a perfect contrasting backdrop to these blue & greenish blue visitors.
They are complementing each other instead of grabbing focal attention from one another!

Thanks for sharing...
