This is fabulous digital art and I like your choice of black and white. This image has a nice tonal range and makes for a dramatic art work. I like that your art work is telling your story and the barbed Wire is making a strong statement. Nice use of brush strokes and shading and blending of color. This is a creative and talented art work! A good composition and nice is the movement in this piece and nice use of light and shadows and depth. A good contender in the contest and good luck!

Of all things to collect, there is a thriving collectors market for barbed wire. Collected in small segments, about 1 foot or less. Some early pieces I am told command 4 digit prices.
Where this piece of digital art is concerned the wire sets the mood and brings the viewer into the scene very well.
I like the B&W rendition, it makes the minds interpretive juices flow.
The contrast is striking and eye catching.

The framing is very good with the tree and foliage and gives it great depth. The bright light on the snow capped mountains are a great contrast to the rest of the gray tones. Nice job!

It is a creation which shows the beauty of nature but the impact of man is frightening. Barb wires usually are set up to hide something, to keep illegal doing from getting discovered.
The black and white and the brooding sky emphasize this impression.

Thank you, Cleo. No, the listing is correct... It is all mine, but I do work in layers. Mostly because I change my mind so many times it's just easier to redo that way. Thank you so much for your time and the beautiful comments.
