This is an exquisite stalk of flowers in several shades of color. They almost look like they are made of fabric. The background is nice because it highlights the blooms. You 'd have a better chance of a reviewer identifying it if we could see a portion of the whole plant.

It seems true for almost all the weeds we find, it is impossible to name them. This weed looks as if it is some kind of Corydalis, but again impossible to be sure. Sure is, that it is indeed beautiful and deserve the name of wildflower more than be called a weed.
Your presentation is outstanding. The mixed media changes are made expertly. Those and the lighting bring detail and textures of the blossoms to attention. The tall framing is adequate. The placement of the plant into the frame is eye pleasing. Best Luck for the contest!

Anytime there is TOPAZ involved in the process, the photo/mixed media just looks that much more amazing. How you took everything away and gave it a completely different background of the light gray shades accentuates this weed
s purple blooms that much more. I have a lavender sweater and gray woolen winter pants that complement one another and that is exactly what this photo does.
Simply lovely photo rendition of this most loving weed....yes we shall not let it cover other flowering plants, but I sure would love to have it growing somewhere near me....;perhaps in my front yard which is nothing but small rocks with various trees, plants and shrubs....the green grass is out back where I can enjoy it. Difficult to keep grass green in a desert.
This is really lovely. Everything about it is pleasing to the eye and just very lovely.
Thanks for sharing. I need to go get some rest. I am really quite ill with the shingles and right now I am feeling not so good at all....excuse me I need to run.....

One more thing real quick....This would look lovely as one of those wrist/arm corsages it would be the length of the forearm....lovely with a lavender or gray or silver shimmer prom dress and he in a gray suit with lavender shirt and cumberbun....oh yes...I can see them now on the dance floor lost in each other....nice thoughts to end this review wit

This is lovely purple color. The variations shade runs the complete spectrum from deep purple to light lavender.
The camera technique for this plane is well designed.
there is deep DOF through out the take.
The subject is well focused and the background shows a fine even bokeh - very pleasing and easy to view.
The diagonal framing makes this object standout to be recognized.
