I like how eye catching and striking the colors of this flower are. I actually have some of these for that very reason. Nice work getting those details of the anthers to stand out so well and the fringe is emphasized well against the dark background.

A wonderful shot and well chosen subject from you Garden of Eden (lol) by the sounds of it, taken close up and with great clarity and positioning to capture the stamen in exquisite detail, and with these wonderful vivid orange and yellow petals curling round the centre beautifully. I can see why the name is so appropriate and can well imagine these glowing away at night as the colours are simply fantastic. A really great shot, well done :)

LOL...it IS My Garden of Eden El-M....right out in the middle of the forest. People who are brave enough to drive down my road are often surprised by all my flowers out here. Even though most feather duster are made of ostrich feathers.
You have sharp focus on the center showing great details.
Very nice explosion of bird like colors. I would call this a Parrot Tulip if I were Queen of the Forest.

My feather duster was a man-made job and I am very happy no Ostrich gave his life for it as Comanche chewed it up...lol...and spread it absolutely EVERYWHERE!! I am STILL finding an odd feather here and there and that was months ago that she did it in. So glad you had a look at this one Sange and thank you for the wonderful review you've given it.
