I waited till I had a six before reviewing this piece Cleo Because it is truly ahhhmazing.
Your notes evoke so much that we are drawn in more viewing this kind soul. I miss the days when Far was a learning site, each one teach one mentality. Today it is rise in rank and who gets to be front and center on page one.
I love the details on his hair, face and glasses. I think the eye glasses are most impressive with realism and details.
It's a beautiful piece and lovely tribute to this special teacher.

It is dark, dreary and raining here today Cleo so I am getting caught up on reviews I wanted to do....and THIS is most definitely one I wanted to get back to.
First- your notes are wonderful and thank you for including so much information about this teacher. Now...your digital painting. Just stunning. I am amazed w/ how much depth you were able to portray in a flat painting....wow Cleo...the contours of his face are stunning...as are all his facial features....his ear, for example and his mouth and teeth. Also done up incredibly well are his glasses and that eye.
Well let me just say that EVERYTHING about that strong face is so well done....from the way the light hits him ever so slightly from above to how well you have done the shadows and creases of his cheek and chin. Skin tone could not be better either. The multi-hued green background was an excellent choice as he teaches in the jungle. Really REALLY amazingly well done. You are quite the talented lady w/ those digital art brushes of yours. So happy to have had the time to come back and really check this piece out. Gets a gold star from me Cleo.....EASILY!!! I love it!

The painting itself is exquisite and proportionally brilliantly accurate, giving a photographic like quality to the piece. The textures and features are incredibly clear and lifelike, and the shadows and the shading on the hair and face is superb.
