I'm really sorry, may be this is a good shot proffesion wise, but I don't find interesting neither the theme, no composition, not even colors.

I'm sorry again, but this photo looks ordinary and boring to me.

Hope no offence taken :))

This is a good family album shot. The colors are okay, a bit dark, not natural. A decent action shot, but could have been better if the camera had been set to continuous motion. You do have an eye for great photograpphy, and that's a very important aspect of great picture taking.

Great shot! He looks like he is getting the hang of it! I really like the surf splashing around him. It would be great to see this closer in where you can see the detail of the water splashing. Spur of the moment shots can't be reshot though!! Glad you got the shot. Nice job!

A nice shot for the family album. The colors in this picture are very good and it's an effective action shot - it would have been nice if he had been facing us but it's a nice shot nonetheless. Well done.

This is a nice action shot with lots of movement rolling through it. I like the smooth lines of the sandybeach, just enough visual to frame your subject moving in the action of the waves. I like that your son was facing the other direction, as if challenging the incoming tides. Without his face, it makes it more marketable in that it is focused on the action, the surroundings, not personalized, yet if you were to blow this up and frame it for him, it would still appeal to your individualized themes.

Without the board visual, it almost looks as if he's conjuring the tide with his arms spanned out. I like the subtle hues found in this piece, the richer blue in his shorts draw our eye to him.

This is a really cool picture. It would make a great poster for his personal use. The sense of action is great and the exposure is beautiful.

Thanks! I think I will do that for him. He really likes it

It seems as though you were raised above the subject rather than having a straight on shot which I think gives a little to much beach in the shot.
This shot is excellent, very clear and extreamly well aligned placing the subject in the center of the picture.

Excellent action shot, well caught for being done on the spur of the moment but with great detail of it 'all happening' in the centre of the shot - very well done.

I'm sorry. This seemed like an average snapshot to me. I think you have a good subject matter and perhaps a different angle or closer view might make it more noteworthy. I do see potential for such. -- Jackie

Very good photographic quality!! This is an awesome action shot which is rather visually stimulating. The splash is incredibly vivid and the shoreline adds a nice contrast. Looks good enough to be placed in an issue of Surfing Magazine!! Good job!!
