I have never heard of a Piano Key butterfly, but I like the name. Now that I look at it, the patterns on the butterfly actually do make me think of piano keys. I like the bright colors on the butterfly that are shown off very well. You have framed this butterfly perfectly, and your focus and lighting are excellent as well. Thanks for sharing :)

Great texture on both the leaf and the butterfly; I can almost feel the powder on its wings. Very elegant shot, just having that one leaf and one stem on there, a small display of life amongst a whole world unseen by man.

You nailed this one. The patterns ae stunning as is the lighting and focus. THe tight crop gives us a up close look at this colorful butterfly. The contrast of the green wet leaf and the piano key stripes provides tons of contrast and interest.

Very dramatic in color. Love this presenting of what I cannot shoot here where I live, I am not good at it, so I leave it to others Beautifful butterfly and I never knew this name before. Great that it is on that leaf. BG is supreme. That white is spot on.

Excellent timing getting the take with the wings fully extended - no easy matter.
The additional dimension of just having rained makes this shot so luscious.
Camera technique is with out flaw.
The focus is so sharp I don't think it can any better than this.
Colors are bright, bold and complimentary to the overall scene.
Framing as well is top of the line.

Very nice and eye catching. Colors are great and focus is sharp. Background is blurred nicely and does not distract from the subject. Fills the frame as it should and an attractive capture for sure.
