Sometimes fred when you post you almost get a history lesson,not sure I would elaborate so much on a photo,this I think works for a panoramic effect,but do slightly feel maybe a bit less so,would like to see a bit more of this place...brian

A fantastic panoramic view of this beautiful Piazza and an informative narrative to accompany it - nice lighting and clarity captures the buildings of similar design but various shapes and sizes wonderfully with the people milling about and relaxing under the parasols outside this busy little area. Great long DOF captures the statue to the right with good detail and the foreground gives good perspective of the size of the piazza and the row of buildings in it - a lovely shot, great work.

This reminds me of the set they put up for television shows....they just build the front of buildings giving it a looks as if there are true buildings there but the re rally are not....that is what this reminds me....I love the long panoramic view you presented this particular photo in. It was well suited just for this piece indeed it was. Really nicely done. Crisp and clear an d sharing so many things with us is an extra plus

A beautiful picture showing the Piazza dell Anfiteatro in Lucca under a clear blue sky the bronze head /face on the right hand side is eye catching & the peolpe bring the Piazza to life. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

one of my favourite locations in Italy to visit is Lucca and why ...because i honeymooned there with Martha and enjoyed so many a time pedalling around the circumference and then dashing down the slope into the cobbled streets and to enjoy strolling through he narrow lanes and then into the plaza as you have presented here to listen to the various entertainment.
