like he came over and posed for ya..lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the rooster is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

WOW this is a difficult one and you have managed it perfectly to let the roster stand out in details white on white - he is clear and sharp in details -I love the shadow like an egg he is standing on relating somehow to his duty loll- your frame is well chosen, his side position make him show off like at a roster exhibition - excellent capture - super management of light and perfect exposure

A great picture of this fine looking rooster, like a side profile almost like a mug shot! I bet it's not always a welcome morning wake up call is it lol.....great clarity showing the details on the white feathers with brown tinges and it's claret head brilliantly, the only problem I'm having which is why I've sadly knocked 1/2 a star off is that the background, although a nice effect when you look closely is too similar to the rooster and I've strained a bit to separate the two in this picture. Other than that great shot of this noisy neighbour, well done! :)

A great picture of this fine looking rooster, like a side profile almost like a mug shot! If there were an award for White Balance management this capture would be the hands down favorite to win, place and show.
You have kept that very fragile and slight difference between the subject and background in delicate balance - Kudos.
As for the other technical variables they are all superbly applied.
The bold contrast between the comb and the feathers of this Rooster is indeed eye catching.
The framing of this composition is well thought out and presents a very eye appealing image.

That's a great title for this piece av and he DOES have the look about him of being the one in charge....for sure...lol
Focus on him is good. Especially crisp are the wonderful reds of his head, face, comb etc. The whites of his body are clean and the reds are perfectly displayed. Great little sparkle in his eye as well. Now I really like the leather look of the white background a lot av but to me your marvelous rooster just about disappears into it...especially along his back and tail feathers. I suppose it's more a personal preference than anything. I DO think it's a very well done piece- as all your work is. I wouldn't necessarily want to change the background color- it's actually a quite sophisticated combination.....perhaps just delineate your rooster a bit??? w/ an exceedingly narrow pencil border as you've used to frame your entire piece?
He IS a great looking guy though...and good notes too btw explaining your Grecian 'alarm clock' av.
