Wow! I just love the effect you bring to the viewer's eye. The colors are spectacular and the scene is magnificent! I love the mermaid sitting on the rock. She is beautiful and contemplative. The ship in the background with all the details and depth is gorgeous. Kudos, as always you have done great!

Virtual 6 to me and the reasons are so colorful in this piece. I would love to see you do more of this type or others, towards historical sea events, on the shore lone, beaches, huts, caves, ships again and so much more. Island art from you please! This is captivating! Very well executed in all manners of perfection.

A great, vibrantly and varied coloured drawing here, done with great perspective and attention to detail, with good proportions on the body of the mermaid (at least the upper half, I've never seen one personally so can't comment on the lower half but I'm sure it's accurate too lol), and great perspective with the old fashioned boat rolling up behind her, drawn with great accuracy and again detail. The unusual use of colours for the sea and surroundings adds to the vivid image and creates a sense of myth and mystery - a great piece my friend, well done :)

Woah! !! This is amazing! How you could possibly make colored pencil sparkle is simply a complete showing of your artistry. I have studied that mermaid tail up closely and am completely impressed with your method in creating that glistening tail! Wow! The remainder of the scene is just not getting some of my attention...Ha! It is glorious as well...with the separation in those clouds and the pink on the water intimating the arrival of the boat at sunset or sunrise.. The story is a beautiful one I hope...as it is in my mind. I hope this was a fun one to create in spite of the time involved. Because it sure is fun to view! Thank you!!!
