Ha! Certainly not your best Capture but I KNOW you had two girls on your mind when you saw the name Valentino! Pretty sure one was Sweet Stella and the other ME!
Valentino is a great name and great designer.
I own two Valentino bags and one eye glass case. Gifts from cousins and my boss' daughter who studied architecture there for a year.
Thanks for the post Fred :)

I have done this job before. The designer did a good job. Kept it spacious with placing the mannequin to the right allowing visibility of shelf and accessories to be viewed easily. The dress is the main draw for the customers eyes but the placement helps I interest in those other items for sale. You did great job capturing this. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the stores display window is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Fred,
I hope Valentino likes her Red "Silk" dress waiting for her in this window on a faceless model, I'm sure it cost plenty of what ever currency you have! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with reflections that to me make it more interesting! Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Hi supergold,

How swanky! And perhaps how heart-attack inducing :) I recall making the mistake of looking at the price tags in one of these high end shops and almost keeling over at the amounts demanded. Never made the same mistake since so it's great to see you kept your distance from this bank account burster (I presume!) :) R

I love Florence...I do so want to head back there and spend more time and in fact i am hoping to stay there for a few weeks next year learning to paint like the old masters as i am a great fan of Caravaggio and Ingres. Like your Red presentation although the picture is slightly skiwiff

Hmm I'm not sure about this one personally, an unusual addition to your sparkling portfolio as the picture seems slightly off centre and the light reflections in the window are visually too distracting. Good clarity and lighting of the shot, but again personally I find it lacks a point of interest - don't take it personally!! :)
