Greece sure gave you some super shots. This is lovely. There is something about the hues of green and yellow accented by the white flowers that is so beautiful and at the essence of nature. Another subtle perfect background compliments the subjects. Fine detail completes a wonderful piece of art.

Even with closed wings, this butterfly you have captured is quite lovely. I have never seen anything like it. What makes it even more interesting to me is that its wings look just like leaves of tree with one of them starting to turn yellow because of the autumn time of year.
I love what you have done with the background keeping some of the grass up close within the frame and the farther you go back the more non textured it becomes.
Your up close and personal shot of him brings out his personality too. He looks so wonderful with his yellow underneath him and the darkness on top and his eye has such a glow to it. Having both flowers especially the one he is sitting on in the frame is lovely too. I am glad you did not clone out the second one that his wing is partially covering. Even though there are no THREE flower, there ARE three items within your fame which make it pleasant and perfect as with professional photographers.....
This is an excellent photograph. You should have entered it in my contest. I am sure it would have made it in the top three for certain at the voting booth.

All of the technical factors are dialed in perfectly.
Every aspect of the butterfly and the blossom it is on are absolutely razor sharp.
In my mind what sets this piece above many others is your timing has caught the entire proboscis fully extended. Plus all the legs and the antenna are clear and well seen.
Your post capture processing of the background gives this a dreamy other worldly look that compliments both the flower and the insect.
