A beautiful picture of the delicate Cactus bloom lit from behind so it seems to be glowing from within the flower itself like a lantern. Artistic composition, framing & soft lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Oh this is beautiful Annie. I love the golden glow of this flower. I have seen these in the wild but back lit like this turns this flower into a wonderful artwork of nature. Beautiful after photo work here Annie. Kudos ~ Steve

A nopal lamp. How unusual. The use of light is very sophisticated. You created the illusion as if there is a light source is inside the blossom and it still looks natural. The soft background and limitation of color create an intriguing twilight.
Did you ever eat some? There are hundreds of dishes made from nopales. All are delicious, but to prepare them is painful.

A wonderful expression of light in this image. I like the way the petals are reaching to and optimally attracting the brightest of light seen in the scene. The gradient look, works well. Well handled technicals as well as composistional consideration.
