Sharp and sunny composition. Great fantasy and expression. Colors are working in a harmony, dancing in the blue rays. Looks like splashes of seeds flying on the background. The whole picture looks fresh and joyful. Thanks for sharing.

I have to admit that my immediate reaction was that this is almost too busy, but when I started to study the image in detail I was totally absorbed studying all the fine and intriguing details. I also like very much the mix of colors.
It is easy to see why you picked the title, because this indeed reminds me of thistles, and it is also easy to see that you have paid very good attention to details.
It is also a good flow in the composition once you get used to it. Indeed an intriguing and well done digital painting.

I really love the different colors here and to me they almost look like they have a little ice mixed with them. I think that this would really look great in an office and it should be a conversation starter. I also like the blurred background because I think it makes the other pieces stand out better.
